The book was edited by Sister Dr Elizabeth Nduku at the Centre for Social Justice and Ethics at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) and published with support from ARC, is a teaching toolkit for catechists and seminarians. It examines issues around land, water, biodiversity, natural resources and energy.
In his foreword, the Most Reverend Tarcisio Ziyaye, Archbishop of Lilongwe and Chancellor of CUEA, says: ‘This toolkit…could not have come at a better time. It speaks to the contemporary environmental issues facing AMECEA, offering African theological solutions. It is imperative that all people of goodwill in our continent, and in particular, in the AMECEA region, receive good information on matters of the environment.’
