Hajjat Sebyala Aphwa, Sara Kaweesa and Kenneth Mukalazi have reported a very successful event which was attended by more than 20,000 people.
And the Uganda stall, with its red bananas and seedlings from Uganda, was 'very well appreciated and the best attraction in the entire show', according to Hajjat Sebyala.
She added: 'The UFNEA members' stall was visited by HRH the Queen of Bahrain and appeared both in the electronic media (TV and radio) and print media (newspapers). We networked with other exhibitors from different parts of the world.'
The Bahrain International Garden Show is held every year under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and with the support of his wife, Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa.
It was originally established to promote ways of greening the desert and this year's theme was 'Agricultural Empowerment'.
The aim was to share the best programmes and practices to build agricultural expertise - so this was a perfect opportunity to share their experience of faith-based approach to sustainable farming.
